Overview:
Our client in the construction industry is seeking an experienced Office Manager/Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee day-to-day office operations and manage all accounting functions. This role requires strong QuickBooks experience and prior construction industry background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-charge bookkeeping including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end tasks

  • Manage job costing, progress billing, subcontractor payments, and lien releases

  • Maintain general ledger and assist with financial reporting

  • Oversee office operations, scheduling, and vendor relations

  • Support payroll processing and verify hours, rates, and prevailing wage requirements (if applicable)

  • Prepare reports, maintain compliance documentation, and support management with administrative needs

  • Coordinate with CPA for year-end close and audits

Required Qualifications:

  • Construction industry experience (required)

  • Strong QuickBooks proficiency (required)

  • 3-5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience

  • Experience with progress billing, job costing, and construction-related documentation

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with field and office personnel
