Overview:
Our client in the construction industry is seeking an experienced Office Manager/Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee day-to-day office operations and manage all accounting functions. This role requires strong QuickBooks experience and prior construction industry background.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-charge bookkeeping including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end tasks
Manage job costing, progress billing, subcontractor payments, and lien releases
Maintain general ledger and assist with financial reporting
Oversee office operations, scheduling, and vendor relations
Support payroll processing and verify hours, rates, and prevailing wage requirements (if applicable)
Prepare reports, maintain compliance documentation, and support management with administrative needs
Coordinate with CPA for year-end close and audits
Required Qualifications:
Construction industry experience (required)
Strong QuickBooks proficiency (required)
3-5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
Experience with progress billing, job costing, and construction-related documentation
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with field and office personnel
